ColumbiaCare’s DEIJ Program was proposed by a Leadership Academy capstone project of the graduating cohort of 2019. In 2020, ColumbiaCare hired a full-time DEIJ Program Manager to lead DEIJ projects and help us bring better services to clients, better workplace for staff, and to strengthen community partnership.

Our DEIJ Committee was also founded in 2020 and is made up of a group of staff from different roles, regions and identities throughout the organization. The committee works to review trainings, policies and work on DEIJ related initiatives.

Our Employee Resource Groups, often abbreviated as ERGs, are groups lead by employees for employees, who come together based on shared characteristics, interests, or experiences. ERGs can focus on various dimensions of diversity and here at ColumbiaCare we have five different resource groups for staff. We encourage you to check them out below!
