Prep for Interview Success!

Here is what you can expect during the interview process, and how to prep for success!

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • We seek applicants who both represent, and can demonstrate experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds; and who will contribute to our Mission, Vision, and align with our Core Values.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • ColumbiaCare offers virtual interviews using standardized interview questions developed by our Strategic Executive Committee and hiring managers. The interview questions touch on topics that include our organizational values, accountability, vulnerability, feedback, diversity and position specific questions.

  • Our Core Values guide how we behave and are central to all that we do here at ColumbiaCare. Check them out ahead of time and consider how you align with them, and how they might apply to this position.

WHY WE DO IT

  • Panel interviews allow multiple people to assess the skills and motivational fit of a candidate in one interview. Multiple perspectives assist with removing bias and help create balanced decisions.

  • Using standardized interview questions allows us to create objectivity and assists us in making equitable comparisons between candidates.

TIME TO PREPARE!

We want you to be set up for success during your interview process, below are some helpful tips!

  1. Prepare in advance : 

    • Research the organization by checking out our website!

    • Review your resume in comparison to our job ad, consider how your experience relates to the role

  2. Practice your answers

  3. Plan to show up on time or a couple of minutes early

  4. Be your authentic self and close with positivity

  5. Create a follow up list of questions you would like to ask about the position, program or company​

  6. Be ready to interview

WHO WILL BE THERE

  • Panel interviews are the norm at CCS you can expect a panel of three or more people. This typically includes the hiring manager and others that are knowledgeable about the vacant position.
